I am a specialist relationship counsellor, with many years of experience. I now only work in a two person team with my colleague Jo Nicholl who is also listed in this Directory We have found that working as a team has many benefits, including effectiveness and overall cost

We will work with you and your partner so you can find ways past the conflicts, the affairs, the difficult feelings - all that is preventing you from understanding and experiencing intimacy with each other. Our consulting room is near Swiss Cottage/ Finchley Rd tubes.

Relationship Issues, Affairs and Couples Counselling.

We offer couples counselling in a two person team with my colleague Jo Nicholl. Jo is also listed in this directory. We provide therapy to those couples who feel they are in trouble and yet want to deal honestly with what is going on. I am a specialist couples counsellor, who has undertaken a rigorous training in couples work.

Our intensive training in couples work means we have the tools to create a powerful process that will enable you to see your relationship issues in a new light.
There is a great deal of relief to be gained in finding a safe space to talk about what’s been so difficult to communicate.
Hurt feelings, angry resentments and trust ebbing away can be healed as understanding is developed.

We believe:

All relationships go through periods when everything seems difficult and demanding. And yet those are the very times when change to a more satisfying and intimate relationship is on the horizon.

Our way of working helps you get untangled from each other, while not losing essential intimate connections.
Much of the time we think we are communicating from an adult rational place with our partners when some other part of ourselves is in charge.
It is possible to develop new and more developed ways of relating to a partner.
Our work has a focus on relationship bonding patterns and is designed to help you find ways to step back from these dynamics .
You can learn how to better manage your feelings, care for yourself , and find out what your limits are.
The aim of our work is to enable clients to feel empowered enough to stop enacting bonding pattern dynamics and instead learn how to intervene and so step away from such relationship dynamics.
